A treasured heirloom brought to North America by Hungarian immigrants and named after the town of Beaver Dam, this variety is known for its distinctive shape and rich, fruity flavor. The medium-sized peppers are thick-walled and slightly irregular, ripening from pale green to orange and finally deep red. Mildly spicy with a warm, sweet undertone, they are excellent for stuffing, roasting, and fresh use. Productive plants perform reliably in Canadian gardens with warm summer conditions. A unique and flavorful pepper with both history and character. Hungarian Heirloom. 70-80 days green, 80-90 days red
